Journal Book 1
A fictional book from the animated television series "Gravity Falls," created by Alex Hirsch. The journal is a mysterious and ancient tome filled with information about the supernatural occurrences and strange creatures that inhabit the town of Gravity Falls, Oregon. I had the pleasure of translating and adapting "Dipper's and Mabel's Guide to Mystery and Nonstop Fun!" into a new language. One of the challenging aspects of this project was dealing with the comic book's intricate backgrounds, which weren't solid colors. To overcome this hurdle, I had to paint new layers over the original text to ensure its complete removal while maintaining the original design's integrity.

Guide to the Crystal Gems | Steven Universe
98 pages
This comic book serves as a guide to the Crystal Gems, their powers, and their adventures in the beloved animated TV series "Steven Universe". One of the challenging aspects of this project was the background's minimalist geometric style, which required me to paint new layers over the original text. Additionally, adapting the characters' and places' names to maintain their relation to real gem and rock names was a unique challenge. Lastly, I had to learn to copy the handwriting style to preserve the text's original feel. Despite these hurdles, I was able to deliver a design that accurately captured the charm and wonder of the original text.

This project posed a unique challenge due to the book's size of 146 pages, making it the largest comic book I have ever translated. Despite this challenge, I was able to deliver a design that accurately captured the book's thrilling and adventurous spirit.
